Prague Literary Review

Praha, Česká republika

This record is not filled by the magazine’s editor.
A monthly where letters do not speak Czech borrowed from all the previous Prague English periodicals and often even borrowed their editorial staff. The word “literary” in the title was not taken too literally and apart from literature (from the Californian pervert Dennis Cooper to the Balkans) it embraced performance art, social criticism or Basquiat. The graphics matched this – the designers Lazarus and later Mario Dzurila took the earliest opportunity to escape the literary ghetto suffocating under letters.
